Demonstration

To listen to some pre recorded examples of calls, click on the appropriate speaker icon below and it will start playing (please be patient, there may be a few seconds delay before it begins). Click on the icon again to stop the playback or select another icon to start that one. If clicking on the icon doesn't work, you can try clicking on the mp3 version at the end of each description.

A "Win" bet on the next race demonstrating the efficiency of bet placement. As a bet on a single horse in a single race, this is a very similar call flow to a "Place" or "Each Way" bet. (mp3)
A "Tricast" bet demonstrating betting on multiple horses in the same race. The "Forecast", "Swinger" and "Trifecta" bets will have a similar call flow. (mp3)
A "Quadpot" bet, demonstrating betting on one or more horses in multiple races. By selecting multiple horses in the same race a combination bet and the appropriate multiplication of the stake is shown. Also demonstrated are betting on a horse by name or number and a warning when a minimum betting limit is broken. This is a similar call flow to a "Placepot" bet. (mp3)
"VA Results". This application allows callers to obtain the result of a race. It uses a different TTS voice to the other examples. (mp3)
Speech recognition is not 100% accurate. It is therefore important to have an intuitive navigation system so callers know where they are within the flow and can change anything that is misheard. This call demonstrates a caller correcting various items, and navigating backwards and forwards through the call flow as they wish. (mp3)

Note 1: For demonstration purposes it is assumed the caller's number is associated with a recognised account (identification), hence it immediately asks for letters from your password (authentication).

Note 2: These demonstrations use a synthesized voice to read out the prompts. Recorded human voice can be used if required to enhance quality.

Note 3: While not demonstrated, it is possible for a caller to interrupt a prompt with their answer before it has finished playing (barge in) in order to speed up the interaction.

Note 4: In these demonstrations, the client is assumed to use Tote style starting price betting, but the system can easily be configured to present the odds at the time the bet is made if that is the requirement.
